How Long Do Black Holes Last?

Answer

A black hole has a finite life, but the length of that life depends on the size of the back hole. They slowly evaporate with the release of radiation. Having said that, even a small black hole the size of our sun would last more than a billion times a billion times a billion times a billion times a billion times a billion times the age of the universe.
