How Long Does the Sat Take?


A test-taker is given three hours and forty-five minutes, of actual test-taking time, to complete the SAT. However, there are several breaks, between certain sections of the test, to give students a break. For example, the test is divided between an English section and Math section. Included in the three hours and forty-five minutes is a twenty-five minute essay question. You can find more information here:
