A Dyson vacuum cleaner is awesome for your home and makes cleaning a snap, but how do you clean them? If you are not cleaning it on a hard surface you can sweep, lay down a sheet. To clean the cyclone bin, remove the cyclone bin from it's latches and empty it just like you would empty a trash bin. Make sure the bin is empty before separating it from the upper cyclone compartment. Next, run lukewarm water over the unit allowing the water to flow through all the small filtering holes. Then, pour water into the large hole and repeat until water runs through it clear. To make sure that the unit is clean, fill the unit with water about halfway, then cover the hole with your hand and shake it to dislodged all remaining dirt. Allow the unit to dry and reassemble. One of the best ways to clean a Dyson vacuum is by disassembling the vacuum by taking off all of the removable pieces and using a can of air to blow out all dirt residue. The canister of the Dyson vacuum can be cleaned by washing the filter in hot soapy water and using a can of air to blow out the dust debris from the suction portion of the canister. The underside of the Dyson vacuum, where the roller is, can be cleaned by removing any entwined strings and using a can of air to blow the dust away. Cleaning a Dyson vacuum should be done in a well ventilated area.
