How to get rid of a sharpie stain?

At some point or another everybody gets a stubborn sharpie stain on their clothes. It can be frustrating for those who don't know how to get rid of the stain, traditional methods don't work on this type of stubborn stain. To have a chance of getting the stain one must act fast. First soak the area with water to keep the stain from setting in, then apply either baking soda, or a commercial stain remover, and scrub the stained area with a scrub brush. Once the stain looks like its lifting rinse the area and wash the clothes as normal.

I read here on YA that the Product called "Off" which is used for preventing mosquitoes from getting on you will remove Sharpie. I haven't tried it but it is worth a try
