How to Season Broccoli?

Answer

For a wonderfully seasoned broccoli recipe, start with 1 1/2 pounds of fresh broccoli. Break the broccoli apart or cut into spears. Place the broccoli in a microwave safe bowl and add 1/4 cup water. Microwave on high for 4 to 5 minutes or until the broccoli is tender when you test it with a fork. Drain broccoli and stir in 2 tablespoons of butter. Then add 1/2 tsp. dried thyme, 1/2 tsp garlic salt and 1 tsp lemon-pepper seasoning. Stir well and serve hot.
