La lechuza is the Spanish word for owl. An owl is a species of bird that belongs to the order Strigiformes. With the exception to the Northern Hawk Owl, owls are nocturnal.Owls hunt insects, smaller birds, and other mammals. They are generally found in all regions except for most of Greenland and Antarctica. They have large forward-facing eyes, wide faces, and small beaks. Owls are seen as bad omens in Arab mythology.
