# Laws of Magnetism?

There are many different laws of magnetism. When thinking about magnetism, though, one usually thinks about the law that states that like poles repel and unlike poles attract. There is also a law for magnetism called Gauss's law for magnetism. This law states that the magnetic field has divergence equal to zero. It states that magnetic monopoles do not exist, which so far they have not been found to exist. If they were found to exist, this law would be disproved.
