Hereditary diseases are also called genetic diseases. These are diseases that are passed down from one family member to another family member. This happens due to a genetic abnormality which causes the gene responsible for these conditions. There are many hereditary diseases. The following is a list of some hereditary diseases; Sickle Cell Anemia, Down syndrome, Usher syndrome, Hemophilia, Muscular Dystrophy, Color Blindness, Tay-Sachs disease, Polycystic, Hereditary Hemochromatosis, Achondroplasia, Autosomal Recessive diseases, Autosomal Dominant diseases.
