Mothballs and Snakes?

Answer

Mothballs and snakes aren't really related other than by folklore. Many people are under the misconception that a moth ball will repel a snake. Moth balls were created to repel moths and have little to zero effect on keeping snakes away. If you want to keep snakes off of your property you can build a special fence that will help repel them. Snake bites can be fatal and if you experience one you should immediately contact 911 or poison control.
