# Plywood Weight?

A sheet of plywood will vary widely in weight, based on the type, manufacturer, origin, and batch. Softwood panel dimensions is usually 1.2525 m x 2.4 m or slightly larger imperial dimension of 4 ft x 8 ft. Plywood for flooring is often tongue and groove. This is so that one board can not move up or down relative to the ones around it. This provides a solid feel. Tongue and groove plywood is usually 12 mm to 25 mm in range.
