Scalp Wrinkles?

Answer

Some people have been known to get scalp wrinkles. Another word for scalp wrinkles is cutis verticis gyrata. This is where there is a thickening of the skin on the top of the head which gives the impression that there are now wrinkles on the scalp. There are typically 2 to 10 folds or wrinkles at the top of the scalp for people who are suffering from this disorder. There has been some scientific study as to why this happens but there is no concrete proof as to the actual cause.
