'Robinson Crusoe' is a book written by Daniel Defoe that was first published in 1719. It is considered a great literary classic that is still read in classrooms today. The story is about Crusoe, who goes on a voyage at sea. His ship wrecks, but he goes to sea again, where his ship is taken over and he is enslaved by pirates. He escapes and becomes shipwrecked on an island. He then leaves the island and returns to England.
