Stewardship Theory?

Stewardship Theory is a theory that involves managers. This theory states that when a manager that is left on their own will be responsible for the assets that are left under their control. The Stewardship Theory came about to explain that a manager believes that it is their duty to do whatever is deemed necessary to protect the assets that they are held responsible for. There are different versions of this theory, depending on what is being managed.
