Ternary Form Music Examples?

Answer

Examples of ternary forms of music include music written by Schumann and Chopin. More specifically, Schumann's Folk Song, which was form the Album for the Young and Chopin's Prelude in D-Flat Major. The way this form of music is broken down is as a three part musical form. It is usually schematized as A-B-A. Generally, the first and third part, which are both A's, are nearly musically identical, if not completely identical and the second part, which is B, provides some kind of contrast to both of the A parts.
