Advantages of Presidential Government?

Two advantages of presidential government are that the president is elected by the people (direct election) and that the president and legislature are separated for a balance of power. In an efficient system where the president has enough power, a presidential government also means quick decision and policy making. Presidents also serve a designated period of time, so the people whom the president serves have some consistency as they know their leader will be in office for that time period and will not be dismissed.
