Ancient Greek Language?

Answer

Not only were the ancient Greeks the first of the European people to record an alphabet, they also basically invented vowels. There were three main different dialects that were heard in ancient Greece. The three dialects were Doric, Ionic, and Aeolic. The three different dialects proved to show just where someone was from by not only the language they used, but the accent that comes along with it. The Phoenicians were who the ancient Greeks based their alphabet and language upon.
