The ancient Hebrew civilization was one of strong people who have persevered through many hardships in their existence. Ancient Hebrews would travel pretty much constantly, considering they were a nomadic people. They wandered the Middle East before finally settling down in Canaan. Canaan is the country that can be found on eastern side of the Mediterranean Sea's coastline. The approximate year that the ancient Hebrew civilization chose to establish themselves in Canaan was 1400 BC.
