# Angle of Depression?

The angle of depression is easily described with the use of a person on a tall building who is looking out at an object that is on the ground. There is an imaginary horizontal line that goes from the viewer's eyes and straight out. Then, there is the imaginary line that goes from the viewer's eyes straight down and out to the object. The angle of depression is the degrees in which these two lines are separated by each other.
