Contrary to popular belief, cats are not colour blind. They however can't see the intensity of colour that humans see. The colours yellow, purple, green and blue are all within the range of sight for a cat.

Cats are not completely colorblind. They are able to perceive a limited, muted spectrum of colors, particularly in the blue range. They do have very little to no ability to distinguish between red and green, however.
