There are hidden environmental and social costs of biomass. Some of these costs are clearing of forests and increase if greenhouse gas emissions. There are also reduction in food which causes social unrest and increase in prices.

This may be only personal opinion, but the costs of harnessing solar power are giving up polluted air and pointless wars fought over fossil fuels. I'll admit that going to solar power
