# Arithmetic Progression Formulas?

A sequence is an ordered list of numbers. Arithmetic progression is a sequence of numbers where the difference of any two consecutive numbers is a constant. For instance, the sequence 7, 9, 11, 13, 15, and so forth, is an arithmetic progression with common difference of 2. Algebraic notation is used to represent an arithmetic progression. In arithmetic progression formulas, 'a' stands for the ?rst term of the sequence. The notation, 'd', represents the common difference between consecutive numbers.
