The sweat glands in the armpits is known as the Apocrine sweat glands. Due to hair in the armpits, sweat accumulates there. Because our armpits are usually covered while our arms are at our sides, the environment is ideal for bacterial growth in the sweat and produce odor.

There really is no way to stop armpit sweat. Using deoderant will help to reduce the amount you sweat and eliminate some of the odor, but completely stopping sweating is not healthy
