What is the lifespan of a 10 solar mass star on the main sequence?

Answer

As a solar mass protostar moves on to the main sequence its surface temperature increases. Its luminosity also decreases at the same time. It comes together and fuses hydrogen. When it's fused it turns into helium at in it's core.

The main sequence lifetime is equal to T = (10^10)*(1/M)^5/2 where M is the mas of the star in solar masses. So the lifetime is approximately = 8.4*10^6 years.
