Briggs Stratton Ignition Coil Test?


Briggs Stratton ignition coil test is done by removing the spark plug wires from the plugs on the right and left sides of the front of the engine then use a 3/8 inch wrench to remove 5 cap screws from the engine cover housing. Use a Phillips screwdriver to remove the 3 screws holding the flywheel screen on and a 5/16 inch wrench to remove the 2 bolts holding each coil to the engine block, and then pull the black wire from each coil thus testing the ignition coil.
