Cab Calloway Biography?


Cab Calloway whose full name is Cabell Calloway III (December 25, 1907 - November 18, 1994), was a widely recognized band leader and American jazz singer. He specialized in scat singing and regularly appeared in African American jazz clubs. His many musical awards include a Grammy Lifetime Achievement Honor and an Honorary Doctorate of Fine Arts from University of Rochester. He revolutionized jazz music to where it is today.
