Can ureaplasma be cured?

Answer

Ureaplasma can be treated using a family of antibiotics which include tetracyclines or erythromycins. This infection is caused by a family of free-living bacteria, and is characterized by a burning sensation during urination. Ureaplasma can also be associated with other symptoms such as discharge, urine frequency and pain.
