Can You Paint Acrylic Nails?

Answer

You can paint acrylic nails with nail polish. It is recommended that a base coat be used on the acrylic nails before using nail polish. Once the base coat has dried completely, apply the fingernail polish, using a second coat if necessary. After the nail polish has dried, paint the nails with a top coat, which locks in the color and also helps in chipping prevention. Be sure to use a non-acetone nail polish remover on acrylic nails, as acetone can damage the nail.
