Seroquel is used in the treatment of bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, and other conditions such as major depression and anxiety. Doctors have also prescribed Seroquel for off label use, for conditions such as, autism, borderline personality disorder, alcoholism, obsessive compulsive disorder, and post traumatic stress disorder. Seroquel is known to induce sleepiness, and has been used as a sedative.
