How to Open a Car Trunk without a Key?

Answer

Slip the hook end of the slimjim within the passenger side window and window trim at the foot of the window next to the door handle. Feel around with the slimjim for the lock rod. This connects the door handle to the locking mechanism. Pull up on the lock rod with the slimjim and open the door and climb into the driver's seat. Pull the trunk release to open the trunk. If your trunk release is malfunctioning, climb into the back seat and locate the seat release lever and finally locate the trunk safety release lever in your trunk.
