Chevy Panel Truck?

Answer

Back in the 1920's panel trucks were all the rage. Small business owners and commercial businesses were using panel trucks to haul their goods. In fact, panel trucks became so popular that most truck manufacturers, including Chevrolet, or GM back then, started making panel truck bodies to fit on the truck chassis they already had for pickups. Unfortunately, just 40 years later the demand for panel trucks had declined. The Chevrolet Panel Truck went out of style when GM introduced their G-series van. In fact, the popularity declined so quickly that GM discontinued the manufacturing of the Chevrolet Panel Truck before the 1967 to 1972 body style was finished. In fact, GM called it quits in 1970 putting the panel truck into the history books.
