Chris Garver became a household name during his time on the TLC reality television show Miami Ink. He is a tattoo artist who started experimenting with tattooing when he was only 17 years old. Garver attended the School of Visual Arts to learn the art of tattooing. He then did a six month apprenticeship repairing old tattoos that needed touch-up. When he was in his twenties, he moved to New York City to pursue his dream of being a full-time professional tattoo artist.
