Christopher Columbus' family members included Dominico Colombo and Suzanna Fontanarossa who were his parents. He was the oldest son out of three boys. His brothers were Bartholomew and Diego. His uncle was Francesco Colon who was a celebrated sailor. Christopher Columbus' wife was Philippa who was the daughter of Bartomeo Muniz de Peresrello who was also a sailor. Columbus was a well known sailor who made four major voyages which led to the settlement of the New World.
