Circumference of a Semicircle?

Circumference (C) of a circle = 2xpixr (2 times pi times r) where r is the radius and pi = 3.142. Since a semicircle is half a circle, the Circumference of a semicircle is therefore equal to half the Circumfernece of a circle, i.e. C of a semicircle= pi times r.

= pi x r + 2 x r = r (pi +2)
Find the circumference of the whole circle and divide by two.C = 2╥r then divide by two Anonymous
