Circus Names?

Answer

There are literally hundreds of circus names that have spanned centuries of circus performances. The book, Directory of American Circuses: 1793-2000, lists nearly 2,500 circus titles. It took the author, Robert L. Parkinson, 25  years to compile the information for this book. The most well known circus names are Ringling Bros. and Barnum and Bailey. The Barnum and Bailey circus is known as The Greatest Show on Earth, and has been in existence one year longer than American baseball.
