Coin Riddles?


Coin riddles are tricks to help teach children how to count coins. It can be difficult for children to learn coin counting; riddles and games help to make it easier for them to learn. A coin riddle example is having four coins that add up to 30 cents and asking which combination of coins adds up to that amount.

3 three cent coins and 1 two cent coin is another possibility after the one nickel and 3 two cent coins given by another person answering. ALSO: 2 nickels and 2 half cent coins.
Just because 1 coin is not a nickel doesn't mean the other coin cannot be a nickel too! So 1 coin is a nickel and the other is a quarter which equals 30 cents!
