# Cubic Feet of Water Per Gallon?

There are approximately 7.48 gallons of water in a cubic foot of water. There are 748 gallons of water in 100 cubic feet of water. City water is most often billed in cubic feet of water used rather than gallons of water used. To find the volume of a container, one would most often multiply the length of the container by the width and the height of the container.
