# Curvature of the Earth?

The curvature of the Earth is round or a sphere and the Earth is said to resemble the shape of a giant ball. The Earth curves at about 8 inches per mile. There are some different ways to prove this theory and one is that there have been people in outer space that have seen the Earth from the outside. These astronauts have taken pictures of the Earth and they show the Earth is actually round.
