The most noticeable difference between the Lhaso Apso and Shih Tzu breeds is that the Lhaso Apso is larger. The Shih Tzu has a longer body and is friendly to strangers. A Lhaso Apso has a shorter body and is not friendly around people he or she doesn't know.
