Difference between Male and Female Pelvis?

Answer

The male and female pelvic vary in many of ways, mainly due to the differences in the functional attributes of their internal organs. The most obvious difference is a shorter, broader pelvis in females, which is limited by the need to articulate the hips and legs while a male pelvis' bones are taller, heavier, and thicker with more prominent bone markings. A females pelvis has a wider and shallower profile of bones which are lighter and less dense.
