Bodies of water can be in the form of oceans, gulfs, rivers, lakes, and others. What defines these types is the land around them and how big they are. Oceans, of course, are the largest of the bodies of water and are salt water. Lakes on the other hand can be both salty, fresh, or both which is called brackish. There are many bodies of water all over the globe and are called different names
