Do Chihuahuas Shed?

Answer

Chihuahuas are neither one of the highest nor lowest shading breeds but they are the medium shading breeds. Chihuahua shed year round, but will shed more heavily once in spring and once in autumn. During these times of heavier shedding you can step up grooming to reduce the amount hair shed around the home.
