Do I Need a Visa to Travel to Thailand from the UK?

Answer

You do not need a visa to travel to Thailand from the UK as British passport holders arriving by air may enter Thailand for 30 days without obtaining a visa in advance of arrival. However people who arrive through overland crossings will be given free visa entry for 15 days. If you are planning on staying for a longer time you will have to obtain an extension of stay or a valid visa.
