Do Mussels Have Brains?

Mussels have two ganglia or masses of nerves around their body but not a central brain that is fully developed. They have no head but have specialised organs for feeding and breathing and have receptors around their body. They live on the sea floor and attach themselves on rocks or substrates that they feed on.
