Drain Gnats?

Answer

Drain gnats begin in the sewers and emerge from the drain into the home. There are several methods of getting rid of the drain flies. First, remove anything that will attract the gnats, such as empty soda bottles or ripening fruit. You can buy commercial traps or you can make your own. Coat cardboard strips with petroleum jelly and hang near the drains. Pour a gallon of boiling water into your drain to help kill most of the gnats. Pour one cup of bleach down the drain, followed with hot water to reach the places where the boiling water couldn't reach.
