There are two different types of muscle fibers; the Slow Twitch (Type 1) and the Fast Twitch (Type 2). The Fast Twitch fibers can be categorized in to two separate categores, a and b. Muscle fiber types are determined by how active we are and if we are naturally fast or strong.
