Elizabethan Drama?

Answer

Elizabethan drama includes the works of Christopher Marlowe and William Shakespeare. The Red Lion was the first theater opened in England during this time period and many of the plays that were performed were by Shakespeare. It was during this time frame that the Elizabethan dramas enabled permanent theaters to be built. Prior to this the theaters were nothing more than what we would call temporary theaters. Most plays were never performed two days in a row and there were many variations.
