Ethical Issues for Recombinant DNA?

There are many ethical and legal issues that have arisen out of the use of gene studies, therapies, and stem cell research. None so more robust than those against recombinant DNA technologies. These arguments are mostly against genetically modified foods, and creating screening tools to abort fetuses that are detected to have a genetic malformation that may or may not form.
