Examples of Acceleration?

Answer

Acceleration is how fast an object is moving based off how much the rate of velocity is changing within a certain time period. Acceleration has to do with how much faster or slower an object is moving within time, not how fast they are going at that particular time. Examples of acceleration would be a child swinging on a swing set, a car increasing its' speed to pass another driver and an object being dropped off a high location.
