What are examples of translucent objects?

Answer

Translucent objects are solid materials made from substances that allow light to pass through it. Examples of translucent objects are frosted or deeply colored glass, waxed paper, dirty water, and some plastics. When light strikes through a translucent material only some of the light rays pass through them. When it comes in contact with the translucent object, the light bounces and scatters as it passes through the material. Translucent objects are difficult to see through.
