Examples of verbal communication?

Answer

Verbal communication is expressing ideas or sending a message through the use of the voice. This type of communication is dependent upon the vocabulary used, pitch, and tone of voice. For example, if someone wants to appear educated, he or she will use more complex words and sentence structures that may not be understood by everyone. Someone who wants to appeal to teenagers may choose vocabulary that is trendy within that group. Tone of voice also conveys meaning. Children know whether or not their parents are angry through the tone of voice. A deeper, gruffer voice is a sure sign that someone is in trouble.
